journey groups

A Journey Group is a group of Jesus’ apprentices who commit to journey through life together and encourage one another to become more like Jesus everyday. We read Scripture, pray for each other, encourage and confess, and share stories that connect Gods’ story to our own.

Journey Groups are the foundation from which our community is structured.  We do not believe that growing in Christ can be done alone and we are also skeptical that our faith will grow if we are only connected once a week in a large worship setting.  This is where Journey Groups come in.  We want to Journey through life together, disciple others, and grow as apprentices of Jesus.

There are only two suggested qualifications for starting or joining a journey group.  1. A desperate need to be changes and a longing to follow Jesus Christ (Romans 7:19, 1 John 2:6). 2. A faithfulness in the process itself (2 Tim. 2:2).
